Istanbul, Turkey| Family Trip | Part I

March 17, 2020

Back in September of 2019, we went on a family trip to Turkey and Jordan! I’ve been to Istanbul back in 2007 and it changed my life! That’s exactly when and where my love for photography all began. As you can tell, I was super excited to go back to Istanbul again! It’s truly a magical city! I wanted to share a few photos from our trip and hope that you enjoy this travel blog! There are 3 parts to this series.

Part I: Istanbul, Turkey

Part II: Marmaris and Fethiye, Turkey

Part III: Amman, Jordan

We stayed in a very small hotel in the Sultanahmet area which was perfect and within walking distance of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia . The weather at the end of September was absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend to visit at this time.

Our hotel breakfast at the Berk Guest House.
There were so many cats in the streets and they were all so sweet! My son really enjoyed playing with the cats!
Hagia Sophia
Outside of the Blue Mosque which was closed for renovations.
The beautiful sea! I loved eating this little stuffed muscles on the streets. They’re filled with rice and a squirt of lemon made them taste so yummy!
All the street food was really good!
The Galata Tower. One of my favorite moments of this trip was venturing off on my own and finding a guy selling fruits from his truck on the side of the street. I loved interacting with the locals and the fresh figs were SO tasty!!
The Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar – what Istanbul is known for!
On the colorful streets of Balat, Turkey.
