A Kansas City engagement session with Lynette and Brian at Crown Center and Liberty Memorial

Lynette & Brian came to Kansas City for their engagement portraits and we got some amazing photos near Crown Center and Liberty Memorial! These two came into from Boston to finalize details for their upcoming Maryville wedding that will be taking place in May of 2021!

Lynette & Brian were neighbors and both sadly lost loved ones yet found each other. Long story short, they were neighbors turned friends that fell in love. Brian loves that Lynette is so adventurous and Lynette loves that Brian is so kind and caring. Together, they love to laugh and there is such an ease when they are together!

For their engagement photos, they wanted something elegant and classy! Since it was a rainy day in March, we wanted to try to take photos somewhere inside. There are a lot of great options of outdoor locations for photos in Kansas City but when it comes to indoor locations, it can be pretty tricky. However, we truly lucked out! I suggested that we could take photos inside of crown center and use their large windows. I was walking around the area to try to come up with spots to take photos with and BAM! I found the perfect spot! The tunnel between Crown Center Kansas City and the Westin Hotel! This tunnel had beautiful nature light and gorgeous architecture. The colors were perfect with Lynette’s blue engagement dress. Honestly – I love these photos and am really proud of them!

For the casual second half of their engagement photos, we went to the classic Liberty Memorial. I love to capture couples just walking and having fun. And we surely did have a good time!
