I am amazed at how fast 2018 has been and so happy to say that it’s been another blessed year as a Kansas City Portrait & Wedding Photographer! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing over 10 lovely weddings and 20 portrait and engagement sessions in the Overland Park and Kansas City area! This year has been a year of growth and I’ve had the pleasure of working with other local wedding vendors to create three gorgeous wedding styled shoots:
The Tuscan Inspired Styled Shoot
The Barn at Riverbend Dusty Romantic Styled Shoot
I also wanted to invest more in my education and business and took several online business and photography courses which consisted of the following:
International Academy for Wedding Photographers
I also signed up for the Knot and with the amazing reviews and feedback from my clients, I won the prestigious 2019 Knot Best of Weddings Award!!
I would say, this year was definitely one filled with lots of growth and love! I love getting to know each one of my clients on a personal level and treating them with the ultimate luxury portrait and wedding experience!
Of course, how can I forget my biggest and most favorite accomplishment in 2018…My brand new website!!! I worked with a dear friend Farah Firman on my business re-brand and she helped me with the logo design and color scheme. For the website, I worked on it all by myself for several months using ShowIt and I am so happy and pleased with how everything turned out!
Aside from the Mariam Saifan Photography business aspect, I was fortunate enough to go on several vacations this year which included:
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Manhattan, New York
Miami, Florida
Seattle, Washington
Half Moon Cay Bahamas
Ocho Rios Jamaica
Cayman Islands
Cozumel Mexico
I believe when you work hard, you should treat yourself, and I definitely do when it comes to vacations! I value spending time with my family and my sweet son and husband and those are some of my favorite memories of the year!
2018…You’ve been amazing!
2019…I can’t wait to see what you have in store!
Thanks to all of you and Happy New Year!!
Of course, I had to get a few behind the scenes photos of me working! See below!
