Ah, Matt & Brooke’s wedding was a dream to photograph! These two have such a pure and simple love for each other and I loved capturing their special day. Brooke is an old friend of mine from middle and high school who I value very much! Life takes us all in different directions, but I was so happy to hear from Brooke when she got in touch with me to tell me she was getting engaged!  I was so happy for her and especially happy to get to finally hang out with my old bestie again! I asked these two what they love about each other and here were their responses!

Brooke talking about Matt: “I love his funny, positive, steady demander and his kind heart towards others.”

Matt talking about Brooke: “I love her smile and her eyes. I love her caring heart and how great she is with kids.”

Their wedding day started off with “getting ready photos” at The ORead Hotel in Lawrence KS. We then headed to the Osborne Memorial Chapel at Baker University. This chapel was built in England in the 1860’s then brought over piece by piece and rebuilt in the 90s! It was a little rainy but we managed to still get some gorgeous wedding portraits!
