Everyone at the church stood up. All eyes were on her. Her eyes were on him. His lips were shivering. Tears rolled down his cheeks. After all, his soulmate was standing right in front of him, about to take her first steps as a bride walking down the aisle. As the preacher had mentioned, fate is what brought these two together.
Ironically, Maria had a 3-day trial on Match.com, when Mark had found her. Their first date was at J Alexanders where they spent hours in conversation, ultimately, staying till the restaurant closed its doors. As they sat across from each other on their first date, they took out a piece of paper to write down what they were each looking for in their future spouses and mark wrote this down: “She’s sitting right in front of me.” Mark & Maria knew that they had both found the one. As the preacher had mentioned at the ceremony, marriage is committing to love and to be kind and compassionate towards each other.
These two were the epitome of kind and compassionate. Mark & Maria had lots of love to give to all their family & friends at their wedding ceremony and reception that took place at the Church of Resurrection Wesley Chapel and the Overland Park Double Tree Hotel. Maria’s mom is full Cuban and Mark is partially Scottish/Irish. He wore an awesome traditional kilt and looked amazing in it! Maria also looked so stunning on her wedding day and I loved her floral pink crown! These two have so much spirit and energy!
Mark & Maria:
Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding! You two are seriously so amazing, kind, and special! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
