Ahmed & Hedaya met when Ahmed went to the West Coast for a part of his studies for med-school. When they met, they really hit it off and decided to get married! Their wedding day took place on a gorgeous day in June at the Overland Park Kansas City Marriott. Their wedding was a traditional Arab (Palestinian & Egyptian) wedding where the bride & groom made their grand entry together, and later, separated into different ballrooms to celebrate on the men side and the women side.

Ahmed & Hedaya were such a fun bride & groom to work with! They were so easy going and happy! We went outside to take outdoor portraits near Cooperate Woods Park where the trees were so lush and green! Because Hedaya wears a hijab, some of these images have to remain private.

My second shooter and I were able to capture the wedding while everyone partied the night away. The men and women were dancing and we were able to capture some fun shots with the groom’s dad being thrown mid air. Now that looks fun!!
