Hi, my name is Mariam Saifan and I love photography!

I am freelance photographer in the Kansas City area and specialize in portraits, weddings, and photojournalistic style photography! My love for photography all began when I went on a trip to Turkey where I learned how fun travel photography can be! Ever since then, it's history!

Aside from my love for photography, I also just graduated from at the University of Kansas where I studied Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Lighting Design. I currently work at an engineering firm, and love to take portraits on the side! I hope to someday be a successful Architectural Engineer as well as a professional photographer. I believe that these two combinations relate to each other with the aspects of light as well as design. Both require skill and artistic ability. My job here as a photographer is to help you look and feel beautiful wether it be on your special day, capturing precious new born pictures, or starting a new chapter of your life after graduation. Whatever it is, I'd love to be a part of capturing the special moments in your life!
